JON TURNER
|
Jon Turner studied piano from an early age with considerable success and joined The Walker Brothers in the early 70’s before moving to Manchester where he worked the cabaret circuit for a couple of years. His obvious ability lead to him getting the gig with the Demis Roussos band and he toured extensively with them for the next 7 years.
Jons next project was to start a recording studio in Edinburgh. During the next 20 years he worked with a wide array of Scottish and international artists including Deacon Blue, The Cocteau Twins, Prefab Sprout and Runrig amongst others.
In 2002 Jon sold the studios and moved to Spain where he set up a Jazz and Blues club which has become a superb venue for live music.
